In Grade 4, I wrote the CCAT exam and was selected for the Gifted and Talented Program, which accepts only students scoring in the top 2%. Since then, I’ve thrived in an environment that challenges me and allows me to collaborate with like-minded peers

Throughout my academic journey, I have participated in several mathematics contests that have helped me grow as a learner. In 2021, I participated in the Kangaroo Math Contest, marking a significant milestone in my development. In 2023, I further challenged myself by entering the University of Waterloo Mathematics Contest, typically written by students in Grades 9 to 11. Most recently, I participated in the Mathematica Pythagoras Contest, where I was honoured to receive a Certificate of Distinction in recognition of my strong performance.

In 2024, my French teacher encouraged me to submit my class poem to the O’Poésie French Poetry Contest. Out of submissions from across the country, I was honoured to receive Second Place in Canada, a recognition that remains one of my proudest academic achievements.

Spirit of Math is an international enrichment program that accepts only students who consistently maintain an A average. I joined the program in 2022, midway through the year, and despite being new to many of the advanced concepts, I worked diligently to excel. My efforts were recognized with a place on the Honour Roll, and through continued dedication, I achieved Honour Roll distinction once again in 2025.
