I have always been drawn to the arts and sports, and these experiences have helped me grow in many ways. Early on, I completed a Red Cross Society certification course, which introduced me to the importance of safety and service. Building on that, I went on to earn my Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and First Aid lifeguarding certifications. These programs not only strengthened my skills but also taught me responsibility, discipline, and how to remain calm and focused under pressure.
This year, I was proud to be selected as one of only 80 students out of 300 applicants to join the Air Cadets as a recruit. Being part of the Air Cadets has already given me opportunities to learn discipline, teamwork, and leadership in a structured environment. It is a program that challenges me to develop new skills, from drills to aviation knowledge, while encouraging responsibility and dedication. I am excited to continue this journey and grow as both a leader and a team member through the cadet program.
My music journey began in 2022, when I started learning piano at the age of six. Since then, I have performed in concerts and recently achieved Intermediate 2 (RCM Level 5 equivalent). At school, I explored new opportunities in music and was selected to play percussion. I have proudly showcased my skills in the school talent show on many occasions
Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, First Aid; Red Cross Babysitting; Star A figure skating; canoeing, kayaking, sailing
Throughout my life, I have done many arts and sports-related things as they have always been of interest to me. One of the first things I did was with the Red Cross Society. My school provided an opportunity for me to be a part of this course for free. I took the course (which was a day long) and passed with this certification.
I have also completed my Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and First Aid lifeguarding courses, which taught me responsibility, discipline, and the importance of staying calm and focused in challenging situations.
Figure skating has been one of the most rewarding activities I have pursued. Through years of practice and dedication, I earned my Star A certification, which challenged me to combine discipline, resilience, and creativity on the ice. Training in skating has taught me how to stay focused under pressure, set long-term goals, and consistently push myself to improve—all qualities that I carry with me in academics and leadership.
Sailing has become one of my favourite summer activities. In 2024, I trained with the Oakville Yacht Squadron and completed my CANSail 1 and 2 certifications. The program taught me sailing techniques, water safety, and teamwork on the water. I plan to continue building on this foundation by pursuing the next level in the upcoming summer
In 2021, I pursued Kathak, a traditional Indian dance, completing a level and earning a certificate. Due to the pandemic, I had to discontinue, but the experience strengthened my cultural connection and taught me discipline and persistence
